Accessories

3D printing accessories are the products that make prints stick, keep filament dry and finish parts after printing: bed adhesives, filament dryers and storage boxes, smoothing and cleaning solutions and small workshop tools. They are useful for every FDM printer owner, from beginners fighting first-layer adhesion to workshops printing engineering materials. Everything listed here is stocked in our warehouse in Senec, Slovakia, so orders are processed automatically and dispatched fast.

The range includes 3DLac and Dimafix adhesives, the complete Magigoo line, the Polymaker PolyDryer™, PolyDryer Box and PolyBox™ Edition II, the Polysher™ smoothing machine, Lemonesol for dissolving HIPS supports, RESINAWAY® for cleaning resin prints, the Fillamentum LockPAd build plate for nylon, Interflon Lube TF dry lubricant and a copper hot-end cleaning brush.

How to choose 3D printing accessories

  • First layer does not stick or corners warp – use a bed adhesive. 3DLac (spray or stick) and Magigoo Original suit everyday materials such as PLA, PETG and ABS; Dimafix activates on a bed heated to 50 °C or more and helps with large ABS parts.
  • Engineering filaments – each Magigoo Pro adhesive is made for one material family: PA (nylon), PC, PP, glass-filled PP, high-temperature materials or flexible TPU/TPE. Nylon can also be printed on the LockPAd build plate.
  • Moisture-sensitive filaments – nylon, TPU, PVA and many composites absorb moisture. The PolyDryer dries and stores spools; the PolyDryer Box and PolyBox™ keep them dry during storage or printing.
  • Surface finish – the Polysher™ removes visible layer lines from PolySmooth™ and PolyCast™ prints with a fine alcohol mist.
  • Supports and cleaning – Lemonesol dissolves HIPS supports without affecting ABS or PLA; RESINAWAY® cleans uncured resin from resin prints.
  • Maintenance – the copper brush removes residue from the nozzle and heater block, Interflon Lube TF leaves a dry lubricating film on moving parts, and the hand gas torch helps to free clogged nozzles.

Frequently asked questions

Which bed adhesive should I choose?

For PLA, PETG and ABS on glass or common build plates, a universal adhesive such as 3DLac or Magigoo Original is enough. For nylon, polycarbonate, polypropylene or flexible materials, choose the matching Magigoo Pro version, which is formulated for that polymer and releases the part once the bed cools down.

Do I need a filament dryer?

Nylon, TPU, PVA and composite filaments absorb moisture from the air, which leads to bubbles, crackling and more stringing. A dryer such as the PolyDryer removes the moisture and keeps the spool dry, which gives more consistent print quality. It also helps PLA and PETG that have been stored open for a long time.

How do I remove HIPS supports?

HIPS dissolves in limonene. Lemonesol is a limonene-based solution made from citrus peel oil: soak the part and the HIPS supports dissolve, while ABS and PLA remain unaffected.

Can I clean resin prints with isopropyl alcohol?

Isopropyl alcohol is commonly used, but according to Monocure 3D it mainly dilutes the resin and saturates quickly. RESINAWAY® is a non-flammable cleaning solution developed to break down photopolymer resin more effectively.
