Spare Parts

3D printer spare parts replace the components that wear out or fail in everyday printing: nozzles, PTFE tubes, heater blocks, heater cartridges, thermistors, fans and cables. Most of our parts follow the widespread E3D V6 standard and 1.75 mm filament, so they fit many hobby and professional FDM printers. All parts are stocked in our warehouse in Senec, Slovakia, so your printer is running again quickly.

You will find brass and stainless steel V6 nozzles, Capricorn XS PTFE Bowden tubing, an aluminium V6 heater block with a silicone sock, a 40 W/12 V heater cartridge, the HT-NTC100K thermistor, a 24 V radial fan and stepper motor cables from RepRapWorld, as well as FEP film for resin printers and a spare nebulizer for the Polysher™.

How to choose the right spare part

  • Nozzle material – brass conducts heat well and suits non-abrasive filaments such as PLA, PETG or ABS; stainless steel is intended for abrasive composites with carbon or glass fibres.
  • Nozzle type and size – our V6 nozzles are 12.5 mm long and compatible with the E3D ecosystem; the M6x13 nozzle was designed for MakerBot MK8-style hotends. 0.4 mm is the standard diameter, 0.3–0.35 mm gives finer detail.
  • PTFE tube dimensions – Capricorn XS has a 4 mm outer and 1.9 mm inner diameter for 1.75 mm filament; the tighter inner diameter helps with flexible filaments.
  • Voltage – heater cartridges and fans must match your printer's power supply: our heater cartridge is 12 V/40 W, the radial fan 24 V.
  • Temperature range – the V6 heater block is suitable for printing up to 350 °C and the metal-cased thermistor measures from -40 °C to +350 °C.

Frequently asked questions

When should I replace the nozzle?

Replace it when extrusion becomes inconsistent, the opening is visibly worn or a clog cannot be cleared. Filaments with carbon or glass fibres are abrasive and wear brass nozzles faster, so print them with a steel nozzle.

Will the parts fit my printer?

Parts labelled V6 fit hotends built on the E3D V6 system, and our nozzles and PTFE tubes are made for 1.75 mm filament. Check your printer's documentation for the nozzle type, heater cartridge voltage and fan voltage, or send us your printer model and we will advise you.

Why use a silicone sock?

The silicone sock insulates the heater block and nozzle, which helps keep the temperature stable, and its non-stick surface prevents plastic residue from sticking to the block. How long it lasts depends on the print temperature and the materials you use.

What is FEP film used for?

FEP film is the transparent release layer at the bottom of the resin vat in LCD, DLP and SLA printers. Replace it when it is scratched, cloudy or punctured. Our pack contains five 200-micron sheets of 195 × 135 mm.

Cleaning brushes, lubricants and bed adhesives are in accessories, and materials for your repaired printer in filaments.
