UV DLP RESIN Rapid | Monocure3D
The Rapid Model Resin range is known for its epoxy-based system that creates models with a hard surface finish without being brittle. It was originally developed for use with MSLA printers that have lower-powered LED arrays to cure the resin. This resin is easy to use; simply shake the bottle, pour, and print. It is typically used with normal layer durations of 5-6 seconds per layer for color-based MSLA printers or 1.5-3 seconds for printers with a monochrome LCD. After printing, a short post-curing process is needed to remove tackiness after cleaning. Consult our printer settings page for more information on how to use this resin with your printer.

These resins have been formulated with a blend of photo-initiators, monomers, and sensitizers to ensure optimal performance with various UV light sources.
With a Shore D Hardness Durometer rating of 75, these resins offer a high level of hardness and durability. Additionally, the viscosity of the resin is 500-600cps at 25°C, as measured by a Brookfield RVT. Monocure 3D resins are known for their low odor, zero VOC emissions, and low shrinkage properties of less than 0.5%.
It is recommended to store these resins in a cool, dark place to protect them from sunlight.
