What one spool of filament really costs, delivered

One 1 kg spool of PLA or PETG costs about €22–25 delivered in Slovakia, 530–550 CZK in Czechia and 7,900–8,700 HUF in Hungary. Most of the difference between shops is shipping: the shops we compared ship free only from €50, 1,000 CZK or 15,000 HUF, and charge €2.90–6.29, 49–139 CZK or 990–2,150 HUF below that.

From what order value is filament shipping free?
In the shops below, from €19.01 to €150 in Slovakia, from 451 to 3,000 CZK in Czechia and from 7,401 to 22,100 HUF in Hungary. We ship free from €19.01 in Slovakia, 451 CZK in Czechia (500 CZK to a Zásilkovna pickup point) and 7,401 HUF in Hungary, so a single 1 kg spool already ships free.

When is ordering from us not the cheapest?
When you buy several spools at once. Some shops have a lower unit price, and the gap grows with every spool.
- Slovakia: three spools of Devil Design PETG cost €59.40 at 3dinat.sk and €65.70 with us. Three spools of Bambu Lab PLA Basic cost €63.81 at majkl3D.sk and €65.19 with us.
- Czechia: two spools of Bambu Lab PLA Basic cost 1,017 CZK at majkl3D.cz and 1,056 CZK with us.
- Hungary: two spools of Bambu Lab PLA Basic cost 15,380 HUF at makerlogic3d.hu and 15,780 HUF with us.
- A refill without a spool can be cheaper still. We don't sell Bambu Lab refills.
Some colours are in our clearance sale at 20, 30 or 40 % off until 31 January 2027. Their unit price is lower.
How fast does it arrive?
In 1–2 working days. We ship from our warehouse in Senec, Slovakia.
In Slovakia you can also collect your order at the warehouse for free; it has to be paid in advance. Details are on the Shipping page.
What should you check when comparing prices?
- Below our threshold (samples, small spools) you pay shipping with us too: €3.40, 80 CZK or 1,490 HUF.
- The free-shipping threshold often depends on the carrier. Check which shipping method it applies to.
- Check quantity discounts in the cart; they may not apply when you mix colours.
- Compare the same weight. Most spools hold 1 kg of filament, some TPU spools 750 g.
- A refill without a spool is cheaper, but you need a reusable spool for it.
